Facepot by Kazakhstan-based designer Igor Mitin

The idea is that anyone can make an individual interior decoration with “facepot” using friends’ or relatives’ images. The Image is printed and stuck to the pot. After that the transparent protective pot is put over the main pot. It will save the image during a watering process. Moreover, transparent protective pot accurately fits the image to the pot’s shape and makes it vivid and complete.

Use lush plants that hide the top of the pot to create a true “haircut” for a person on the image. Print black-white images and use facepots for restaurants or offices’ interior decor.

Interactive magnetic wallpaper by Kristel Erga

Created by Norwegian textile designer Kristel Erga, this cleverly designed interactive magnetic wallpaper is made from recycled textile waste that allows you to piece together a wall décor of your choice, while eliminating pre-consumer textile waste.

The recycled fabric sheets  are used to design various textures for magnetic “tiles”. The decorated tiles can be attached to the wall by coating it first with a layer of magnetic ink . The idea of such magnetic puzzle-shaped tiles is that one can piece together and customise ones’s own interactive wall art. The puzzle pieces can be custom-made regarding colour, size and surface design. This way each display will be unique and fit perfectly to the users measures and needs.

The Exchange Hotel in Amsterdam

Hotel  “The Exchange” in Amsterdam is a hotel with a special love of fashion, where students of the Amsterdam Fashion Institute have dressed the rooms like models on the catwalk. The result: a hotel where architecture meets fashion. The romantic at heart can fall asleep in a Marie Antoinette-inspired room where a huge dress drapes over the walls and unto the bed. Or, if you prefer a more minimal look, opt for a room that is based on the old fairy tale of the Emperor’s New Clothes.

And for all of you that will book  up to February 2012 you will get a 50% opening promotion discount. Hurry up!!!
